Pioneer Projects (Celebratory Arts) Ltd is a community based arts and health organisation. Pioneer Projects promotes the use of arts and celebration to impact positively on the health of individuals and communities. The organisation’s ethos and working practices are based on the evidence that health and creativity are connected.
Bridging the Gap is a new and exciting Pioneer Project 3 year Big Lottery Reaching Communities funded project.
Pioneer Projects will be working with 4 Care Homes for older people in the district of Craven to develop an innovative programme of arts based activities with residents. Care staff will be supported to deliver creative, fun and stimulating activities based on the identified needs and aspirations of residents. There will be wide ranging creative opportunities, from movement and dance, to sculpture and printmaking.
